We keep the minimum, we sell nothing, we measure without cookies. GDPR.
Pre-launch draft. This text is sealed together with the house’s registered details before the first copy is sold; the fields marked below are the ones still missing. We would rather show you the gap than fill it with something invented.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is [PENDING — fiscal data: registered name, tax number, registered address]. For anything concerning your data, write to [PENDING — house address].
What we collect
When you order: your name, email, delivery address, what you bought, your copy number, and the record of the payment. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us — we receive only whether the payment succeeded.
When you subscribe to The Dispatch: your email address, nothing else.
When you visit: standard server logs, and aggregate audience measurement taken without cookies and without following you anywhere.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a phone number, or an account. There is no account to create.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To perform the contract: taking, shipping and supporting your order.
To meet legal obligations: invoicing and tax records under Spanish law.
With your consent: The Dispatch, and any advertising cookies. Consent can be withdrawn at any moment, and withdrawing it changes nothing about what you can read or buy.
For our legitimate interests: preventing fraud, keeping the site standing, and understanding in aggregate which pages are read.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records: for as long as Spanish tax and commercial law requires [PENDING — retention period, to be confirmed with counsel].
The Dispatch: until you unsubscribe, which is one click in every email.
Server logs: a short technical period, then deleted.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that make the order happen, each under a written data processing agreement: our payment processor (Stripe), the carrier who delivers to you, the partner who makes and packs the garments, and our email provider [PENDING — full processor list].
We never sell, rent or trade personal data. No advertising list is built from your order.
Outside the European Union
Where a provider processes data outside the EU, it is done under an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
By default we set only what is strictly necessary for the site to work — a session and your basket. Audience measurement is cookieless.
If advertising cookies are ever used, they load only after you have said yes, and refusing them costs you nothing.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, take it elsewhere, or withdraw consent. Write to [PENDING — house address] and we answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or to the authority in your own country.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
The way out
That is the small print, in full. The rest of the house is the magazine — and the one edition that is open right now.
