The measurements

These are the numbers of the finished garment, laid flat, after washing — the same ones the maker signs against. Not body measurements, not a guess.

Measurements are of the finished garment, laid flat, after washing — not of the body. Tolerances are what the maker signs against.

Equivalence by market

The cut is unisex and drafted on a men's block. If you are between two, the measurements above decide — not the letter.

How to measure

Lay a t-shirt you already like flat on a table, smooth it out, and compare it against the table above. It is the fastest way to know, and it never lies.

CHEST WIDTH

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER
Seam to seam across the back. Includes the intentional 1–2 cm drop.Tolerance ± 1 cm
SLEEVE LENGTH
From the shoulder seam to the edge of the cuff.Tolerance ± 1 cm
SLEEVE OPENING
The cuff laid flat, one edge to the other.Tolerance ± 1 cm
NECK OPENING

Why the tolerance is printed

An edition of a hundred can be measured piece by piece. So it is.

The industry accepts up to 3.8 cm of drift between garments of the same size. We publish a tighter number and check three pieces of every batch, washed, before anything is sealed. If a copy misses it, it never becomes a copy.
